It's raining babies...

...isn't that the sentiment that baby showers are meant to invoke? No? Well, it's kind of true for many of my friends and family at this stage in our lives and it's so fun!

The weekend after MR's birthday party, we attended a baby shower in Tennessee Ridge for my sweet cousin (and first time mommy), Tara.

It was a gorgeous, sunny day and we drove through some beautiful Tennessee countryside on our way to the shower...

MR loved looking at all of the presents and ineracting with everyone...

The hostesses of the shower did an excellent job tying the "pea in the pod" theme into the decor and refreshmets (and even the shower invitations)...

Tara got some beautiful gifts...

The yellow quilt above with sweet little elephants on it was handmade by her grandmother. It was absolutely gorgeous and a few tears of happiness were shed :)

Below is Aunt Jill (Tara's mom) with MR:

Lastly, I made mom let me get a picture of her with Molly (she avoids having her picture taken at all costs):

Congratulations Tara on soon-to-be Baby Girl Weise! Your life will be forever changed in a way you didn't even know needed change. You are going to be a truly amazing mother. Your kind, open hearted, jovial spirit will transfer into motherhood well. :) Love you and can't wait to meet your little angel!
